Best Memories Playing with the Middlesex Magic
By far the best memory of my time on the Middlesex Magic was advancing out of our pool at the National Championships. The tournament was constructed a bit different than it is now and we beat some very good teams to advance to play Boo Williams in bracket play. The whole team stayed together in a house in Orlando and we had a blast.
How the Middlesex Magic helped me the most
Playing for Middlesex Magic helped immensely in my preparation to play at the Division 1 level. Every tournament we played in we were playing against national programs that competed at the highest level. Just being exposed to that level of competition helped me have a successful freshman year at Boston University. By playing for Coach Crotty Sr. I was also exposed to the level of intense coaching that you receive at the college level. We practiced 2-3 times a week in Spring/Summer and they very much resembled the atmosphere, coaching, and intensity of college practices. I am still in touch with guys I played with on those teams and that means a lot to me.
Current Profession
I am currently an assistant coach at American University in Washington D.C. – NCAA Division I Patriot League.
