Summer Camps 2023

Gold Standard & Middlesex Magic are excited to provide New England's only summer camps Powered by Under Armour! Our summer camps are focused on individual and team skill development, fostering a love for hard work & the game of basketball and include small game application, tournaments and contests . Camps run Monday - Thursday, 9am - 2pm, at BSI - Wellesley. Our camps are led by our Gold Standard Coaches and special guest speakers at our camps have included world renowned shooting Coach Dave Hopla, Tyler Kolek (Marquette University) and Josh Morissette (Wofford College).

Coach Crotty Point Guard Academy is led by Middlesex Magic Director Michael Crotty Jr. Coach Crotty is a former NCAA National Champion at Williams where he led the country in assists and was a 2-time NCAA All-American selection, scoring 1402 points and recording 819 assists in his career. Coach Crotty then played a year of professional basketball in Germany before becoming the Director of Player Development for the Boston Celtics, where he helped with the development of Celtics all-star point guard Rajon Rondo and won an NBA Championship ring in 2008. Since 2010 Coach Crotty has been Director of the Middlesex Magic where he has helped over 200 student-athletes become college players including Milwaukee Bucks NBA Champion Pat Connaughton, Miami Heat forward Duncan Robinson, Marquette guard Tyler Kolek, Notre Dame’s Cormac Ryan Dom Campbell and many more! This past year the Magic 17u won the Spring Under Armour Championship and have 8 players signed to Division 1 schools including JP Estrella (Tennessee), Michael Loughnane (Davidson), Aidan Cammann (Harvard), Marvin Musiime-Kamali (Akron), Joe Nugent (Holy Cross), Logan Carey (Maine) and more! The camp focuses on the fundamental on court skills necessary to be a great point guard, but also the leadership qualities and off court factors that make elite point guards.
